Those wishing to leave Mumbai for 'unavoidable' reasons can apply for emergency travel, says police

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 16 (ANI): Mumbai Police on Thursday announced that those who wish to leave the city amid lockdown due to "unavoidable" reasons can give an application for emergency travel on its website.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 16 (ANI): Mumbai Police on Thursday announced that those who wish to leave the city amid lockdown due to "unavoidable" reasons can give an application for emergency travel on its website.
"With lockdown extended till 3 May, applicants who wish to leave Mumbai owing to unavoidable reasons can apply at https://mumbaipolice.gov.in/ApplicationforEmergencyTravel or call us on 7738518130 #TakingOnCorona," Mumbai Police said in a tweet.
This comes after more than 1,000 migrant workers gathered outside the station in Bandra on Tuesday, demanding transport to go back to their home towns, hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the extension of the lockdown till May 3. (ANI)
