"Those responsible will not be spared": MP CM Mohan Yadav on firing incident in Shajapur

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed grief over tragic firing incident in Shajapur district and said that those responsible for the death would not be spared.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], September 26 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed grief over tragic firing incident in Shajapur district and said that those responsible for the death would not be spared.
Late Wednesday, a dispute happened between two groups in Maksi town in Shajapur district which resulted in stone pelting and firing, and left one person dead and seven injured.
In a post on X, CM Yadav wrote, "The loss of life in an unfortunate accident due to mutual dispute in Maksi town in Shajapur district is very sad. Those responsible will not be spared at any cost. As soon as the incident came to my notice late last night, I talked to the senior officials of the district administration and directed them to ensure peace in the area."
"Investigate the matter with impartiality, identify the culprits and take strict action. We are committed to maintain harmony and peace in the state. Tampering with law and order will not be tolerated in the state," he further wrote.
According to an official release, following the instructions of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, the Commissioner and Inspector General of Police (IG) Ujjain Range visited Maksi.
Earlier, Shajapur Superintendent of Police (SP), Yashpal Singh Rajput told ANI, "A dispute occurred between two groups in Maksi town and a firing incident also came to light in which a few people were injured. Police forces were deployed in the town, patrolling was being done and the situation was under control."
Meanwhile, Shajapur district hospital doctor on duty Imran Khan told ANI, "A serious case arrived from Maksi here in which one person died, while seven were injured. All the injured were referred to Indore for further treatment." (ANI)
