New Delhi [India], September 16 (ANI): Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Friday praised Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Hema Malini's coffee table book 'Chal Mann Vrindavan' and said that the book beautifully highlights the history, culture and religion associated with the historical city of Vrindavan.
"Chal Mann Vrindavan beautifully highlights the history, culture and religion associated with the historical city of Vrindavan. Actor and BJP MP Hema Malini has greatly contributed to this book. She has highlighted many features (of Vrindavan) history, culture and religion," said Anurag Thakur at the book launch event in Mumbai.
Meanwhile, speaking on 'Chal Man Vrindavan's book, Hema Malini who is MP from Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura said that the book has the complete detail of the Brij area and it was a blessing for her to write it.
"It will tell about Vrindavan and complete details about the entire Brij area...This was a blessing for me," said BJP MP.
Last month at the book launch event in Delhi, Malini said, "Chal Man Vrindavan is written in two languages, Hindi and English. It will tell about Vrindavan and complete details about the entire Brij area, Govardhan, Nandgaon, Barsana, Mathura and all the surrounding the '84 kos'. How Holi is played there, how the raas leela is organised. This book will make the reader feel like he has reached Vrindavan... I thank Ashok Bansal and his entire team for making this book and making me a part of it."
The book is authored and edited by Ashok Bansal and published by Harivansh Chaturvedi, president, of Bimtech Foundation. (ANI)
