New Delhi [India], September 14 (ANI): After the Supreme Court granted bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday, AAP Haryana Chief Sushil Gupta exuded confidence in the party's victory in the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections and said AAP will form the government in Haryana.
"There is a lot of enthusiasm among the public. Celebrations are being done everywhere. This is a big slap on the BJP's face and truth has emerged victorious...AAP will form the government in Haryana," AAP Haryana Chief Sushil Gupta told ANI.
Adding to the chorus, Punjab Minister Balbir Singh said that Arvind Kejriwal's bail will be a huge morale booster for the Haryana assembly elections.

"There is a wave of happiness in the entire nation...We thank the Supreme Court...The candidates for the Haryana assembly elections will be filled with enthusiasm...It is the victory of honesty," Punjab Minister Anmol Gagan Maan said.

The Supreme Court on Friday granted bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi Excise Policy but set certain limitations, like barring him from entering the CM office and signing files.

Upon his release, the Delhi CM was welcomed by a large crowd of AAP leaders and supporters.
His wife, Sunita Kejriwal, along with AAP leaders, accompanied him to his official residence. Kejriwal held a roadshow from the jail to his residence.
Kejriwal was arrested by the ED on March 21, 2024, in connection with a money laundering probe relating to alleged irregularities in the now-cancelled Delhi excise policy 2021-22. (ANI)
