"Their bodies are in India, but their hearts are in Pakistan:" Anurag Thakur criticizes Congress

"Their (Congress leaders) bodies are in India, but their hearts are in Pakistan. The hearts of Congressmen beat for Pakistanis. Your (Congress) government is becoming impotent, and yet you claim you'll open up the Wagah border," Thakur said.

Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh) [India], May 28 (ANI): Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, accusing its members of having their hearts in Pakistan while residing in India.
"Their (Congress leaders) bodies are in India, but their hearts are in Pakistan. The hearts of Congressmen beat for Pakistanis. Your (Congress) government is becoming impotent, and yet you claim you'll open up the Wagah border," Thakur said.
Thakur further raised several questions regarding the Congress party's stance on various issues including financial dealings with China through the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation.
"I want to ask Rahul Gandhi, what compulsion is there to praise Pakistan? What compulsion is there to take money from China through the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation? What compulsion is there to question the valour of our soldiers? What compulsion is there to work and feed off the 5 per cent quota for SC, ST, and OBC and why is this a compulsion for the Congress? My question is, what compulsion is there to trample on Sanatan Dharma and demolish the Ram Mandir? What compulsion does the Congress have to insult Hindus, demean India, and muzzle praise for Pakistan and China? What is the compulsion of the Congress party?" Thakur said.
He criticized Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for her failure to champion women's rights despite her slogans.
"It was easy to give the slogan 'I am a girl, I can fight'. But she never fought nor stood up for girls. Women were tortured, crimes were committed and they were also killed but Priyanka Gandhi was not seen," Thakur said.
Thakur also denounced the Himachal Pradesh government for its inaction in fulfilling promises made to women, highlighting the delay in disbursing funds.
"Neha, the daughter of a Congress counsellor was murdered by strangulation for refusing to undergo forced marriage. Despite being in power, their councillor's daughter did not get justice, but she did not catch anyone's attention," Thakur said.
"Promises of Rs 1500 per month to women in Himachal Pradesh were made, but it's been 16 months, and no face has been shown, nor have any women received a penny. Now, the CM there says he will provide money within 24 hours. Congress government has been asleep for 16 months. Now it's time for your government to leave," he added. (ANI)
