Thane: Man slaps Ramdas Athawale, detained

Thane (Maharashtra) [India], Dec 9 (ANI): A man has been detained for allegedly slapping Union Minister Ramdas Athawale at an event in Ambernath city here on Saturday.

Thane (Maharashtra) [India], Dec 9 (ANI): A man has been detained for allegedly slapping Union Minister Ramdas Athawale at an event in Ambernath city here on Saturday.
The accused, identified as Pravin Gosavi, was thrashed by the public at the spot and later detained by the police.
Gosavi had reportedly approached Athawale to get a picture clicked, and later slapped the Union Minister.
The accused is currently being treated for injuries at a hospital in the vicinity.
