New Delhi [India], November 3 (ANI): Congress leader Rashid Alvi said on Sunday that efforts should be made to catch the terrorists alive who are responsible for the Budgam attack, and definitive proof should be provided about their background.
"It should be known who these people are. If these are Lashkar people then there should be evidence that they are Lashkar people. Because just saying that these were terrorists and belonged to Lashkar and were killed is not enough. Efforts should be made to catch them alive," he told ANI.
Alvi further claimed that terrorism is increasing in Kashmir, "Terrorism is increasing in Kashmir...Farooq Abdullah has rightly said that efforts should be made to arrest them and proper investigation should be done."
Earlier on Saturday, National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah demanded an investigation in Budgam terror attack and said that he has a doubt that is it done by the people who were trying to destabilise the government in Jammu and Kashmir.
"It should be investigated. How is it that the government has come and this is happening? I have a doubt that is it done by the people who were trying to destabilise the government...If they (terrorists) are caught then we will get to know who is doing this. They should not be killed, they should be caught and asked who is behind them...We should check if there is an agency who is trying to destabilise Omar Abdullah," Farooq Abdullah told ANI.
On Friday, terrorists fired upon two non-locals in Mazhama, in the Magam area of Budgam district. After the incident security forces cordoned off the whole area to nab the attackers.
