Terrorists boosting morale through Sunjwan strike: Ram Madhav

New Delhi [India], Feb. 12 (ANI): Terrorists are trying to indulge in some kind of violent activity to boost their morale, claimed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary Ram Madhav on Monday.

He was speaking in the context of the recent attack on an army camp in Sunjwan, Jammu and Kashmir, that claimed the lives of five security personnel and a civilian.

"There is desperation and panic among terrorists. They are trying to indulge in at least some kind of terror activity so that their morale can be restored. We are very sorry that some soldiers had to sacrifice their lives," Madhav told ANI.

Madhav's view came as Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman left for Jammu to assess the security situation after the attack.

The attack on the army camp in Sunjwan took place on February 10. Four Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists have been killed. (ANI)
