Anantnag (Jammu and Kashmir), October 7 (ANI): A terrorist on Saturday opened fire at the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers in Anantnag and injured a sub-inspector.

Terrorist opens fire at CRPF troopers, one official injured

Anantnag (Jammu and Kashmir), October 7 (ANI): A terrorist on Saturday opened fire at the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers in Anantnag and injured a sub-inspector.

The sub-inspector has sustained bullet injury on his right hand after an unknown militant from a car fired upon troops of 66 Bn CRPF when they were on road opening duty.

The firing took place around 5:50 p.m. near Mir Bazar police station.

The injured officer was immediately rushed to the district hospital in Anantnag.
