Telangana: Women journalist allegedly attacked by Congress workers in CM Revanth Reddy's hometown

One of the journalists, identified as Saritha took to X and alleged that they were physically assaulted by the Congress workers while reporting on the implementation of the farmer loan waiver.

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], August 22 (ANI): Two women journalists were allegedly attacked by Congress workers in Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's hometown at Kondareddypalle village, Vikarabad district.
One of the journalists, identified as Saritha took to X and alleged that they were physically assaulted by the Congress workers while reporting on the implementation of the farmer loan waiver. She also shared a video of the alleged assault.

The women journalist Saritha taking her X, wrote, "Congress workers in CM Revanth Reddy's hometown Kondareddypalle physically assaulted me and fellow journalist Vijaya Reddy while we were reporting on the implementation of the farm loan waiver. Our camera was smashed, phones were snached and we were pushed into mud."
"I urge Mr. @RahulGandhi and Smt. @priyankagandhi to recognize the troubling reality in Telangana. I also hope the Press Council of India takes serious note of this attack on women journalists in Telangana," she added.
