Telangana: Man steals TSRTC bus, drives with passengers in Siddipet, held

A man allegedly stole a bus from the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus depot at Siddipet on Monday, said police.

Siddipet (Telangana) [India], September 12 (ANI): A man allegedly stole a bus from the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus depot in Siddipet on Monday, said police. 
According to officials, the accused has been identified as Bandala Raju, 40. 
A video of the theft incident also went viral on social media platforms. 
According to the police, at about 4 AM on Monday, the accused stole a bus from Siddipet's New Bus Stand.
He drove the bus to Karimnagar and then to Sircilla. 
While he was coming back to Siddipet, the vehicle stopped after running out of diesel. 
"The bus belongs to a private individual and the RTC had hired the bus. The bus owner filed a complaint," said the Circle Inspector of Police, Siddipet 1 town. (ANI)
