Telangana: KTR Rao lays foundation stone for IT Hub worth Rs 25 cr

Nizamabad (Telangana) [India], Aug 2 (ANI): Municipal Administration and Information Technology Minister KT Rama Rao along with Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MP K Kavitha on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for IT Hub, T-Hub Incubation Centre in Telangana's Nizamabad district.

Nizamabad (Telangana) [India], Aug 2 (ANI): Municipal Administration and Information Technology Minister KT Rama Rao along with Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MP K Kavitha on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for IT Hub, T-Hub Incubation Centre in Telangana's Nizamabad district.
Speaking on the occasion, Rao said that the Telangana government has set itself the mission to make available the technology to the common man and even in towns.
"The IT companies would provide employment to the locals and provide assistance in the development of the areas," he said.
Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd (TSIIC) as an implementing agency will set up the innovation hub in three and a half acres at an estimated cost of Rs 25 crore. The innovation hub consists of innovative soft skills training, audio visual room, lecture hall, skill development classrooms and meeting rooms.
Multiple IT companies participated in the inauguration program and signed MoUs with the Telangana government.
Kavitha said: "TRS party is working for not just next elections but for future generations. IT Hub will change the course of youth and put them on par with global youth."
She added that a special stadium for women would be constructed soon, a bus terminal would be constructed at the cost of Rs 25 crore, and the capacity of digital library would be doubled. (ANI)
