Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy participated in the 'Christmas Celebrations - 2024' at LB Stadium, Hyderabad on Saturday and said that Christmas is the most celebrated festival in the world and Jesus Christ gave the message to be affectionate towards neighbours apart from loving self, said a statement from CMO.

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], December 22 (ANI): Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy participated in the 'Christmas Celebrations - 2024' at LB Stadium, Hyderabad on Saturday and said that Christmas is the most celebrated festival in the world and Jesus Christ gave the message to be affectionate towards neighbours apart from loving self, said a statement from CMO.
December is a month of miracles. Jesus' birthday is being celebrated in this month every year. Congress leader Sonia Gandhi also celebrated her birthday in December which was also happened to be the month of start of the official process to the formation of Telangana state. December is a very important month for all of us, said CM further.

The Christian community is competing with the government to provide free education and medical services to the poor. Sometimes, the community provided better quality services than the government and also participated in the construction of society, said CM.
The role of Christian fraternity in the construction of a healthy Telangana is very important. Our government's idea is that all religions should be protected. The government will not tolerate anyone speaking against another religion. People have the right to follow the faith they believe in. The government will not tolerate religious hatred, read the statement from CMO.
Government will provide 100 per cent protection to the Christian community. 200 units of free power supply for the poor is very useful for Dalit and tribal Christians. The official process of allocating Indiramma houses to the needy will start after the Sankranti festival.
State government is mulling to ensure that poor Dalits and Dalit Christians benefit from the allotment of Indiramma houses. Will provide due representation to the community in the government. Appealing to the PCC president to provide adequate representation to Christians in the party in the future. Requesting to provide the details of those who are ready to participate actively in party programs. They will be given a suitable place in the party, according to the statement from CMO.
