Patna ( Bihar) [India], April 22 (ANI): Reacting sharply to Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav's tweet on Bihar's law and order situation, BJP President Dilip Jaiswal on Tuesday said, Tejashwi Yadav has no work he just picks issues after reading newspapers and watching TV.
He urged Yadav to focus on discussing development, adding that crime would naturally decrease as Bihar progresses under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Speaking to ANI, Jaiswal said, "Tejashwi Yadav has no work. In the morning, he reads newspapers, watches TV and picks up an issue to talk about. I have told him to talk about development."
"If Bihar develops, crime will stop automatically. Nitish Kumar is working on the basics... Bihar is progressing under the leadership of Nitish Kumar," he added.
Earlier, Tejashwi Yadav, leader of the RJD, had criticised the Nitish Kumar-led government's handling of law and order, alleging that Bihar has descended into a "jungle raj" under the leadership of Modi and Nitish.

in a post on X, Yadav wrote " Modi-Nitish's great jungle raj in Bihar: Two youths murdered in Begusarai, one person murdered in Supaul, Sukhdev Thakur shot dead in Nalanda, a 16-year-old youth shot in Munger, JDU leader Soni Nishad shot in Patna, two women murdered in Nalanda, bus driver shot dead in Patna. How many murders should I tell you about?"
"Every minute, a criminal incident is taking place here. Law and order have collapsed in Bihar. Police are busy extorting money in the name of the liquor ban," the post added on X.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, Yadav came down heavily on BJP MP Nishikant Dubey over his remarks against the Supreme Court, asserting that such statements undermine the dignity of the judiciary and warrant contempt proceedings.
Speaking to reporters, Yadav said, "Such comments should not be made on the Court, and if someone makes such comments, contempt proceedings should be initiated." (ANI)
