Tej Pratap Yadav resigns as chief of RJD's student wing

Patna (Bihar) [India], March 28 (ANI): Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and son of former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav resigned as the chief of RJD's student wing on Thursday.

Patna (Bihar) [India], March 28 (ANI): Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and son of former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav resigned as the chief of RJD's student wing on Thursday.
Earlier in the day, he failed to turn up at a press conference he had called raising speculation that all in not well within the Yadav family.
"I am resigning from the post of patron of Chhatra Rashtiya Janata Dal. Those who consider me innocent are themselves innocent. I know in how much water who all are," tweeted Tej Pratap Yadav.



The RJD is contesting 20 out of the 40 parliamentary constituencies in the state as per a seat-sharing pact announced by the grand alliance on March 22.
Bihar will go to polls in seven phases, from April 11 to May 19, and counting of votes will take place on May 23. (ANI)
