New Delhi [India], October 4 (ANI): Following the 'Pandakkal Pooja' ceremony that was held on Friday morning at Vikravandi Salai, ahead of Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam's (TVK's) first state conference to be held on October 27, actor turned politician Vijay wrote a letter to his cadres.
Pandakkal Pooja is a ceremony where a bamboo pole was erected at V Salai, where TVK's first state conference is to be held. TVK General Secretary N Anand and several other party supporters participated in the ceremony.
Taking to social media X, Vijay in his letter responded to various criticisms of his party and said that the state conference would be a reply to all the criticism directed at his party.

"Few have been raising questions like whether we know what is politics. Do we know what a conference is? Whether we can sustain continuously in the field? When we successfully host the conference, they will understand that Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam is not just a namesake political party. Whoever judges us would understand this is the party that is going to rise and achieve success on political grounds. I ask everyone to understand these things and to work for our conference," he wrote in his letter.
Further, in his letter, Vijay wrote, "We have to work for the people of Tamil Nadu. We have to fulfil their basic needs, which are not fulfilled yet. We have to fulfil that with the help of the Constitution. This is my long pending ambition in my heart. Today the 'Pandakal' ceremony held for our conference went well. This marks the beginning of our conference stage work."
Vijay also advised his followers to be responsible humans, responsible citizens and role models.
"Our first state conference is to reveal our ideology and policy. The family will respect only responsible humans. A country will respect only responsible citizens and moreover, people will appreciate humans who act as role models. My big desire is that in our party people should be with all the above three. We can have joy, celebrations and excitement and also we have to prove when we all gather in one place, that place would be with discipline and maturity," he said in his letter to the cadr (ANI)
