Patna (Bihar) [India] Feb. 28 (ANI): Bihar Congress on Wednesday suspended party's four Members of Legislative Assembly (MLCs). The suspended Congress MLCs later announced to join the ruling Janata Dal (United).

Suspended Congress MLCs are former Bihar State Congress president Ashok Choudhary, Dilip Chaudhury, Tanvir Akhtar and Ram Chandra Bharti.

Reacting to the development, Choudhary told reporters, "People like us who worked for the party were sidelined. The four of us have decided that we are bidding goodbye to the party (Congress) and going to Janata Dal (United).

Choudhary added that "we sincerely believe he (Nitish Kumar) is one of the finest leaders".
