Student shoots dead principal in Haryana

Yamuna Nagar (Haryana) [India] Jan. 20 (ANI): A Class 12 student shot dead his school principal allegedly during parent-teacher's meeting, here on Saturday.
The incident took place at Vivekanand Public School.
The accused, identified as Shivansh, was nabbed by the people following the incident and handed over to the police along with the revolver, which is registered under his father's name, the police said.
After the incident, school principal Ritu Chabra was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Reportedly, the accused was irked with Chabra after he had been expelled from the school and asked to come to the meeting with his parents.
The role of accused's father is also being probed, according to police. (ANI)
