Srinagar: Police arrest terror suspect involved in weapon snatching case

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Mar 1 (ANI): Srinagar Police apprehended a person, allegedly associated with the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), under the Arms Act on Friday in Barzulla area.

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Mar 1 (ANI): Srinagar Police apprehended a person, allegedly associated with the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), under the Arms Act on Friday in Barzulla area.
The accused is identified as Showket Ahmed Khan who hails from Aarth-Narbal Budgam.
The police got specific input about his suspected movement near the Government Hospital for a bone and joint surgery.
On questioning, the accused told the police that his code name is Aumer Bhai and he is associated with Lashkar-e-Toiba, a banned terrorist organisation.
An FIR has been registered at Rajbagh police station in Srinagar
Further questioning is underway. (ANI)
