Sri Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysuru opened for special prayers today

Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel participated in the Maha Aarti at the renowned Shri Jagannath Temple in Ahmedabad and sought the blessings of Lord Jagannath. 

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday said prayers were offered for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's well-being on his birthday and announced a month-long program to mark his 25 years of public service.

The Monsoon Session of Parliament began on July 20 and concluded on August 13. It adjourned sine die on August 13 after 19 sittings spread over 25 days. Prorogation means the termination of a Session of the House by an order made by the President under Article 85(2)(a) of the Constitution.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Minister Chirag Paswan and BJP State President and Union Minister of State Pankaj Chaudhary on Thursday offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday.

Speaking on the occasion, senior BJP leader Tamilisai Soundararajan said the party was marking the Prime Minister's birthday month as a Seva month.
