The two carriers will also operate their respective scheduled services to and from Jeddah and Muscat with a total of 10 flights to and from Jeddah, and 08 scheduled flights to and from Muscat operated by Air India Express.

Key departure destinations from Doha include Mumbai, New Delhi, Islamabad, New York, Frankfurt, Beijing, London, Cairo and Johannesburg. Inbound flights arriving in Doha are scheduled from Seoul, Jeddah, New Delhi, Hong Kong, Muscat, Melbourne, Dallas and Bangkok.

Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu is overseeing the situation and maintaining direct engagement with all relevant stakeholders to ensure a quick and coordinated response, the ministry said on Tuesday.

A SpiceJet flight from Fujairah safely brought passengers back to New Delhi on Friday amid rising tensions in West Asia. The passengers, who had travelled to the UAE to attend the Vijay Ratna award function on 28 February, faced significant challenges due to multiple flight cancellations caused by the ongoing conflict in the region. There are 50 award winners and some journalists on the flight.

Airport authorities stated that the decision was taken as a precautionary measure due to the unsafe airspace conditions prevailing in the West Asian region.

The airline said on Wednesday that it continues to operate several additional services from key UAE cities, including Dubai and Fujairah, to Mumbai and Delhi. The special flights are aimed at assisting stranded passengers and ensuring smoother movement between the two countries during this period.

SpiceJet will operate eight special flights from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday to facilitate the return of Indian nationals stranded there amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia, a press release by the airline said.
