Special CBI Court acquits all accused in Jharkhand coal block case

New Delhi (India), March 16 (ANI): A special CBI court on Saturday acquitted all the accused in a coal block case against 'Bajrang Ispat Ltd'.

New Delhi (India), March 16 (ANI): A special CBI court on Saturday acquitted all the accused in a coal block case against 'Bajrang Ispat Ltd'.
Bajrang Ispat was allocated the Dumri coal block of Jharkhand in 2006. Later on, the aforesaid company was amalgamated with the Company 'TP Sao and sons'.
The charge sheet was filed Sections 420 (cheating) and 120B (Criminal Conspiracy) of IPC against Director Ramesh Kr.  Aggarwal, authorised signatory Anil Jain and the company.
Advocate Pramod Kumar Dubey and Anurag Andley argued on charge for accused Anil Jain.
Judge Bharat Parashar discharged all accused persons after Court found no solid ground to proceed in the case.
This is the first coal block allocation scam case since 2014 where all accused have been discharged by the Special Court. (ANI)
