The Spear Corps Warriors conducted an interaction and welfare camp at Jagun in the Tinsukia district of Assam for veterans of the Indian Armed Forces and Assam Rifles.

Tinsukia (Assam) [India], August 6 (ANI): The Spear Corps Warriors conducted an interaction and welfare camp at Jagun in the Tinsukia district of Assam for veterans of the Indian Armed Forces and Assam Rifles.
The event focused on the issues being faced by the veterans and is organised from time to time in order to resolve them.
The camp provided information about various government schemes and benefits available to the veterans, the release stated. 
The ex-servicemen were also informed about the various initiatives taken by the Indian Army and Assam Rifles to strengthen their relationship with the ex-servicemen community. 
A walk-in medical checkup was also part of the event. Indian Army is committed to providing all possible support and assistance to the veterans
Meanwhile, over a hundred veterans attended the event. 
Spear Corps hopes to conduct more such programmes in the future to build an even stronger relationship. (ANI)
