Sonia-led Congress delegation meets Sri Lankan PM

New Delhi [India], November 23 (ANI): A Congress delegation led by party president Sonia Gandhi on Thursday met Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Vice president Rahul Gandhi, former prime minister Manmohan Singh and Congress leader Anand Sharma were also present at the meeting.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his Sri Lankan counterpart.

The Sri Lankan Prime Minister, who arrived here on Tuesday on a four-day visit, also called upon President Ram Nath Kovind.

Wickremesinghe today participated in the opening ceremony of the 5th Global Conference on Cyber Space (GSSC), which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi.

The Sri Lankan Prime Minister will leave for Colombo on November 24.(ANI)
