Sonia Gandhi to regularly review work of newly appointed Congress Maharashtra ministers

New Delhi [India], Dec 31 (ANI): Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi called a meeting of all the newly appointed Congress ministers in the Maharashtra government and instructed that their work will be reviewed regularly.

New Delhi [India], Dec 31 (ANI): Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi called a meeting of all the newly appointed Congress ministers in the Maharashtra government and instructed that their work will be reviewed regularly.
Gandhi held the meeting at 10 Janpath earlier today and instructed the newly appointed ministers to firmly implement the Common Minimum Programme in the state. Congress ministers in Maharashtra government also met Rahul Gandhi before meeting the interim president of the party.
"High Command will be reviewing the work of all the ministers. It is important to review. The leaders who have been assigned the ministry should firmly implement the common minimum programme in the state of Maharashtra. There should not be any compromise with the ideology," said senior Congress leader from Maharashtra Vijay Wadettiwar.
Twelve ministers were sworn in from the Congress on Monday afternoon under the first cabinet expansion of the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray-led government. (ANI)
