Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) [India], August 26 (ANI): Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has said that there is a lot of excitement for the upcoming Regional Industry Conclave which is scheduled to be held in Gwalior on August 28 and expressed his confidence that some good decisions will be taken for the entire Gwalior-Chambal division on that day.
"Regional Industry Conclave is going to be held here the day after tomorrow (on August 28). CM Mohan Yadav visited Gwalior regarding the conclave and we had a conference meeting over Zoom call. There is a lot of excitement and I am sure that some good decisions will be made on that day for the entire Gwalior-Chambal division. There will also be some good announcements for the division. There are a lot of possibilities in our division," Scindia told reporters.
The Gwalior-Chambal division can be a counter magnet of Delhi. The possibilities that this division has, are probably not found in any other division in the state. There are possibilities not only in the industrial or manufacturing sector but also in Information Technology (IT), agriculture, food procession, tourists sectors etc, the union minister said.
"I believe that this Regional Industry Conclave will lead us to achieve those targets at a fast pace under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav," he added.
The Regional Industry Conclaves are being held as a pre-event of the "Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investor Summit-2025".
GIS-2025 is proposed to be organised in Bhopal on February 7 and 8 next year. The main objective of the GIS-2025 Summit is to establish Madhya Pradesh as a favourable investment destination and to include it among the leading states of the country by highlighting the capabilities, abundant resources and favourable industrial environment of the state.
The first event in the series of Regional Industry Conclave was organised in Ujjain on March 1 and 2 this year. Later, the regional industry conclave was held in Jabalpur last month on July 20. Besides, an Interactive Session on Investment Opportunities in MP events has also been held simultaneously outside the state as part of the pre-event of 'Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investor Summit-2025'.
