Six new candidates, 32 incumbent MLAs in NCP's first list of 38 candidates

The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Ajit Pawar faction, announced the first list of 38 candidates for the upcoming assembly election.

Mumbai [Maharashtra], October 23 (ANI): The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Ajit Pawar faction, announced the first list of 38 candidates for the upcoming assembly election.
The list includes six new faces and 32 incumbent MLAs. The new candidates have been introduced in Arjuni Morgaon, Igatpuri, Amravati City, Navapur, Pathri, and Mumbra-Kalwa constituencies.
Among the 32 sitting MLAs, nine ministers have been included. The list also includes the Assembly Deputy Speaker and four women candidates.
Deputy chief minister and NCP president Ajit Pawar will be contesting from the Baramati assembly constituency.
The first list of 38 candidates announced by the NCP is as under:

During the occasion, National President and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, National Working President MP Praful Patel, State General Secretary MLA Shivajirao Garje, State Vice President Sanjay Khodke, State Vice President Pramod Hindurao, State Spokesperson Sanjay Tatkare, and Youth State President Suraj Chavan remained present.
The Maharashtra assembly elections are scheduled for November 20, with counting for all 288 constituencies set for November 23. (ANI)
