Signature bridge scuffle: Amanatullah Khan gets anticipatory bail

New Delhi [India], Nov 17 (ANI): The Delhi's Patiala House Court on Saturday granted anticipatory bail to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amanatullah Khan in connection with Signature Bridge scuffle case.
Khan was booked by the Delhi Police after a scuffle broke out between his party supporters and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state chief Manoj Tiwari during the inauguration ceremony of Signature Bridge on November 4.
Tiwari got into a brawl with the AAP workers at the event after which he filed a complaint against Khan, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and unknown persons. Khan was caught on camera shoving Tiwari during the inauguration ceremony of the bridge.
In a video footage of the incident, Tiwari was seen standing at the edge of an elevated platform when the AAP MLA from Okhla, pushed him.
The bridge was inaugurated by the Delhi Chief Minister on November 4 and was opened for the public the next day. (ANI)
