Pulwama Police has appealed to all media organisations, journalists, social media users, digital platforms and the general public to act with responsibility and discretion while reporting or sharing any information concerning law and order, security-related matters or public gatherings in the district.

The 2022 law allows police and prison authorities to collect and store various types of personal data, including fingerprints, photographs, iris and retina scans, biological samples and behavioural details such as signatures and handwriting.

Opposition parties in the Kerala Assembly staged a protest against the Pinarayi Vijayan-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) government over the Sabarimala gold theft case on Monday.

Accused in the Sabarimala gold theft case, Rajeevaru walked out of the Poojappura Central Prison on Wednesday after securing bail from the Kollam Vigilance Court.

"I promised my father that even though you are no more, I will ensure that we will take these people to the gallows by appealing to the Court. Five more of my father's murderers are still free. The police are also involved in this. The Unnao Administration is also colluding with them in this. I have sent so many appeal but the Unnao Administration has not taken a single action," the victim of the Unnao rape case told ANI.
