Scooterist dies in mishap near AP CM's residence

Amravati (Andhra Pradesh) [India] Mar 23 (ANI): A scooterist died in an accident on Saturday here near the residence of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
The victim who was on a two-wheeler when he hit a Mahindra Bolero jeep. He died on the spot.
The jeep driver Anil, while talking to ANI, said: "I was returning from Vijayawada after dropping my boss."
"I was driving at the speed of 30kmph when the person coming from the wrong direction hit my jeep. He seemed to be drunk," he said.
The victim’s body was shifted to Mangalagiri government hospital by the police. The jeep was sent to Tadepalli police station.
Details of the deceased are yet to be traced. Further probe is on. (ANI)
