BJP leaders on Wednesday hit back at Congress over its spokesperson Supriya Shrinate's allegation that Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had resorted to artificial intelligence to show good roads in Assam and said the "entire Cong ecosystem has so much contempt for Assam" and the people of state "will remember this insult".

Sibal also criticised the administration for a perceived lack of long-term planning and foresight regarding India's heavy import dependency and potential supply vulnerabilities in the face of geopolitical instability.

According to an official statement from the Chief Minister's office, "sacred land of the Ganga River, Yamuna River, the Char Dham, Adi Kailash and several revered Shakti Peeths, Uttarakhand has long been a center of faith for Sanatan followers across the world. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Dinesh Sharma, on Wednesday, commented on the implementation of women's reservation in the parliament, affirming that women's empowerment remains a top priority for the ruling government.

Congress MP Manish Tewari said that invoking of the Essential Commodities Act was over the top and the crisis warranted a full fledged discussion in the House.
