RSS hails Pranab's 'greatness' for accepting its Nagpur event invite

Congress MP Manickam Tagore claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has "stopped insulting people of Tamil Nadu" by switching from Hindi to English during his public rally in Tamil Nadu's Tiruchirappalli on March 11.

The Governor-designate Kavinder Gupta, recently appointed as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh after serving as the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, arrived in Shimla on Monday evening ahead of his swearing-in ceremony.

"I want to ask the BJP and RSS, how dare Trump's minister grant us time to buy oil? Who are they to dictate to us? BJP-RSS people, if you have love for the country, shun them (US) and tell them that we will buy oil from whosoever we want. Why are they silent on this? This is a question of our country's sovereignty. Buying oil from others should be entirely at our own discretion, Owaisi said while addressing a gathering at Masjid E Quba.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat on Wednesday urged that the 'Sangh' should be viewed from a humanistic angle rather than a political one for better understanding, while visiting the Swaminarayan Temple in Vadtal, Gujarat.

Preparations are in full swing at the festival venue in Jaisalmer, which will be organised under the guidance of Acharya Jinmani Prabh Suri. A special highlight of the event is the historic Mahasankalp (great resolution) of the mass recitation of the Dadaguru Ektisa by 18 million devotees worldwide simultaneously on March 7.

Tamil Nadu Congress President K Selvaperunthagai on Saturday said the alliance between the DMK and the Congress is natural and very intact, and asserted that even if Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits Tamil Nadu 100 times, the BJP won't take anything from the state.

The Congress leaders held the havan rituals at the Hanuman Temple located at Red Cross Square in the state capital Bhopal on Friday and alleged that a conspiracy was being hatched against the Shankaracharya to defame him.
