Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], December 25 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party MP K Laxman on Wednesday suggested Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to read the history of Congress after the Telangana CM accused China of "encroaching" over 2,000 kilometres of Indian land since 2014.
"Congress was in power for about 60 years. I want to ask that when there was a war with China in 1962, Nehru ji was the Prime Minister. About 42,000 square kilometers of land was occupied. Not only this, when we had a war with Pakistan, about 93,000 Pakistani soldiers were in our custody. They were captured by our army. Why did Indira Gandhi release them without any conditions? ... When terrorists killed our soldiers in Pulwama, Modi ji gave a befitting reply, surgical strikes were done... Congress people insulted Dr Br Ambedkar. Revanth Reddy should first read the history of Congress ...," Laxman said.

Earlier on Tuesday, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy attended a book release program at Ravindra Bharathi and accused China of "encroaching" over 2,000 to 4,000 square kilometres of Indian land since 2014.
"China occupied about 2,000 to 4,000 square kilometres of Indian territory after 2014. The rulers lack the courage to discuss this subject or reveal the facts, and no one is taking up these issues. Whether it is Chinese intrusion, or the conflict in Manipur, an extensive discussion on these issues is necessary to control them. Only then can peace be established in this country," Reddy said.
This year in May, Revnath Reddy raised questions over the Pulwama terror attack in 2019 and the retaliatory airstrikes on a terror hideout in Balakote, deep inside Pakistan.
Laying the blame on the BJP-led NDA at the Centre for 'failing' to prevent the Pulwama attack, the Telangana CM said, "For Modi, everything is political. Everything is about winning elections. His way of thinking is not good for the country. The time has come for the country to be rid of Modi and the BJP. Ask them anything and they will respond with 'Jai Shri Ram' (glory to Lord Ram). They failed to prevent the Pulwama attack. What was the IB doing? What was our intelligence network doing?" (ANI)
