Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], November 25 (ANI): Ahead of the flag-hoisting ceremony at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on Tuesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called the event the "renaissance of Sanatan culture."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the sacred flag atop the 191-foot-high shikhara of the Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi Temple during a special flag-hoisting ceremony today.
Yogi Adityanath welcomed PM Modi along with saints and guests ahead of the ceremony, which will begin with a visit to several temples at the Ram Janmanbhoomi Temple premises at 10 am.
At around noon, the Prime Minister will ceremonially hoist a saffron flag on the Shikhar of the sacred Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, symbolising the completion of the temple's construction and ushering in a new chapter of cultural celebration and national unity. The Prime Minister will also address the gathering on this historic occasion.
In an X post, CM Yogi wrote, "In the foremost of the seven sacred cities, the divine Shri Ayodhya Dham, today, from the sacred hands of the honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, a grand saffron flag is about to be hoisted atop the spire of the Lord Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple."
"This divine message of the renaissance of Sanatan culture is infusing indomitable spiritual and soulful energy throughout the entire Bharatvarsha. The faith, penance, and anticipation of crores of Ram devotees are today about to be established at a new pinnacle. The nation is today immersed in Ram, immersed in Dharma," he added.

Further, UP CM lauded PM Modi, calling him the architect of "New India."
"A hearty welcome and felicitation to the world's most popular politician and the architect of 'New India', the honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, in the sacred birthplace of Lord Shri Ram, the epitome of eternal consciousness and the supreme upholder of righteousness, Shri Ayodhya Dham," Yogi Adityanath wrote in an X post.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat will also be present at the ceremony today.
Welcoming Bhagwat, CM Yogi wrote, "Hearty welcome and felicitation to the Honourable Sarsanghchalak of RSS, Dr. Mohan Bhagwat ji, at Shri Ayodhya Dham, the land of unwavering faith, patriotism, and Sanatan Dharma."
"With the radiant brilliance of eternal pride illuminating it, we extend a heartfelt welcome and warm felicitations to the revered saints, religious scholars, and all devotees of Lord Rama arriving from across the country and the world for the grand ceremony of hoisting the magnificent saffron flag at the Prabhu Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple situated in Shri Ayodhya Dham. Your dignified presence infuses new energy into our resolve for the upliftment of the nation and religion, as well as the cultural renaissance," he added on X.
"We extend a heartfelt welcome and salutation in the sacred city of Shri Ayodhya Dham, the beloved abode of Lord Shri Ram, the embodiment of truth, righteousness, and compassion, the supreme exemplar of propriety, to all the esteemed guests and distinguished dignitaries gracing us with their presence to witness the divine and majestic hoisting of the saffron flag atop the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on this auspicious occasion," CM Yogi wrote, welcoming other dignitaries to Ayodhya.
The programme will take place on the auspicious Panchami of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Margashirsha, coinciding with the Abhijit Muhurat of Shri Ram and Maa Sita's Vivah Panchami, a day symbolising divine union.
Invitees to Ayodhya Dhwajarohan chanted slogans as they arrived in the city to attend the ceremony today, while the devotees reached Ayodhya for Shri Ram Lalla's darshan.
One of the invitees, Lakshmi Devi, said, "I am overjoyed. I had not been to Ram Darbar to date. But we received this invitation letter, and I feel really fortunate that I have been invited here. This is a matter of great delight for us. We are heading to Ram Darbar now. We are a team of about 32 people who have come from the Balrampur district."
The 'Dharma Dhwaj' carries three sacred symbols, Om, the Sun and the Kovidara tree, each representing profound spiritual values rooted in the Sanatan tradition.
The Kovidar tree is a hybrid of the Mandar and Parijat trees, created by Rishi Kashyap, showcasing ancient plant hybridisation. The Sun represents Lord Ram's Suryavansh lineage, and Om is the eternal spiritual sound. (ANI)
