RBI Central Board meet: Governance Framework among key issues discussed

Gujarat chief minister Bhupendra Patel on Thursday distributed 40 electric cars to Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across the state in Gandhinagar to facilitate practical training in electric vehicle technology for trainees in the Motor Mechanic trade. During the event, the Chief Minister also inaugurated 50 Dhanvantari Arogya Rath and six Mobile Medical Vans to provide doorstep primary healthcare services to construction workers and labourers.

According to an official release, through this decision, CM has adopted a farmer-centric approach to safeguard rural farmers' interests by ensuring the transparent and accurate resolution of objections related to land measurements after promulgation, while also promoting Ease of Doing Business.

Marking a significant step in the development of Sabarkantha district, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 1,999 development works worth around Rs 72 crore from Navalpur village in Talod taluka.

The manufacture, sale and distribution of drugs are regulated in the country under the provisions of Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Rules thereunder through a system of licensing and inspection, an official release from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said.

"Indian government has introduced Essential Commodities act, as gas supply for cylinders should be avoided, and only domestic cylinders should be given. We are forcing the Central government to bring the hotels under the Essential Commodities section. The government has ordered the oil companies to give commercial cylinders to health, agriculture, and education. How can hotel industry survive without cylinders it is the main source for us," Santosh Malnad, Director Hotel owners association told ANI.
