RBAF Commander visits Eastern Command Headquarters

Indian Railways is actively enhancing its safety and operational efficiency through the deployment of advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) devices and smart monitoring systems.

Earlier on Wednesday, the alert troops of White Knight Corps of the Indian army conducted a joint search Operation Sherikalan in Gen Area Poonch, and recovered approx 4 kg of explosives. They have been destroyed in situ.

The Ministry of Railways has implemented a multi-pronged strategy to enhance freight efficiency, ensure seamless regional connectivity, and provide robust first-and-last-mile solutions. Tibetan women-in-exile in the northern Indian hill town of Shimla held a peaceful protest on Wednesday to mark the 67th anniversary of Tibetan Women's National Uprising Day, raising their voices against Chinese rule in Tibet and remembering the sacrifices made by Tibetan women during the historic uprising of 1959.

Indian Air Force (IAF) Chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh on Thursday flew MiG-29UPG multi-role aircraft solo sortie from one of the frontline fighter bases of India, and reviewed the operational preparedness of a base in Western Air Command.

During his visit, Sangma directed the district administration to immediately provide food assistance to communities affected by the disturbances. Residents informed the Chief Minister that around 17 communities in and around the Araimile locality are currently facing shortages of rice and other essential commodities.

MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that several of these individuals, particularly students, have already left Iran and returned to India. Others, including students and pilgrims based in Tehran, have been shifted to safer locations and cities within the country.

The Air Chief also reviewed the operational preparedness of a base in Western Air Command (WAC). The exact location of the MiG 29 sortie, and the WAC base has not been revealed due to security reasons.
