Speaking to ANI, Deepak Chaukasi, the owner of a jewellery shop in Surat said that every year a new trend is observed on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan and this year the trend has been diamond, silver and gold rakhis.

"Every year, the trend of rakhis changes. This year the shop has received plentiful orders for diamond, silver and gold rakhis. Silver rakhis start from Rs 500 and go up to Rs 8000. Gold rakhis are in the price range of Rs 4000 to Rs 80,000, due to fall in prices. The price of the diamond rakhis starts from Rs 35,000. We have received a great response this year on our collection. Our rakhis are customized as per the needs of the customers in the form of bracelets. Platinum rakhis have also been ordered by several customers," he said.
