Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh) [India], July 20 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu has found no sincerity in Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh's speech in the Lok Sabha.
"It would have been good on Rajnath Singh's part if he had told what the Centre has done to Andhra Pradesh in the last four years instead of saying I am a good friend. They are signing the old tune. They are not clearly telling what they have done to Andhra Pradesh," the Chief Minister said while speaking to TDP MPs on phone regarding the Union Home Minister's speech.
Chief Minister Naidu added that Rajnath Singh has not reviewed properly before speaking in the House that what they have done to Andhra Pradesh.
"It seems they have not reviewed what they have done to Andhra Pradesh. There is no sincerity in their words. There are chances that Prime Minister Modi will also sing the same tune as Rajnath Singh. Strongly demand until they tell facts about what they have done to Andhra Pradesh. We consider those who did injustice to the state as enemies. For me, state interests are paramount. We are on a no compromise fight," he said.
The Chief Minister took to Twitter and said that it is a fight between majority and morality and demanded the provisions of the Act.
"This is a fight between majority and morality. We want the provisions of the Act and promises made to people of Andhra Pradesh during bifurcation to be fulfilled. We will not stop this fight until justice is done to 5 Cr people of AP. #APDemandsJustice #NoConfidenceMotion," he said.

Speaking in the Lok Sabha on special status to Andhra Pradesh, Rajnath Singh had said, "Prime Minister Modi-led government has always worked for the well being and welfare of the state. We have good relations with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and will continue to have a cordial equation. Many things have been sorted out for the state, but due to some issues the matter (special status category) has not been resolved."
He further added that the 14th Finance Commission has no provision of special or general category for states. He added that the Centre would assist Andhra Pradesh in all possible ways and within the purview of the constitutional framework.
The no-confidence motion was moved by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) over Andhra Pradesh Special Category status issue. (ANI)
