Rajesh Dharmani, Yadavindra Goma inducted in Himachal Cabinet; CM Sukhu says portfolios of Ministers will be changed

With the induction of Rajesh Dharmani and Yadavindra Goma, the Himachal Pradesh cabinet now has 11 members. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu speaking to the media after the oath ceremony of new ministers said that the portfolios of the ministers will be changed.

Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) [India], December 12 (ANI): With the induction of Rajesh Dharmani and Yadavindra Goma, the Himachal Pradesh cabinet now has 11 members. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said after the oath ceremony of new ministers said that the portfolios of the ministers will be changed.
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla administered the oath of office to Rajesh Dharmani and Yadavindra Goma at Raj Bhavan, Shimla on Tuesday.
CM Sukhu said that the cabinet expansion was much needed as he had the smallest cabinet.
"We had the smallest cabinet, we have done expansion of the cabinet, we have inducted two more ministers and it was much needed. One post of minister is still vacant and we shall induct that minister soon," the CM said.
"Maybe we will induct another minister before Lok Sabha elections. We shall also give space to Mandi; we shall induct one person as deputy speaker. We must collectively move forward to make Himachal a self-reliant state," said the Chief minister.
The Chief Minister said that he is going to UAE for a five-day visit and will bring investment to Himachal Pradesh.
"I am going to the UAE and we shall bring investment to the state, we want the investment to come to Himachal. We shall bring investment and will share it with you once I come back from UAE," added Sukhu.
The newly inducted minister, Rajesh Dharmani who comes from the District of Jagat Prakash Nadda said that the people have shown faith in the Congress party in Himachal Pradesh and will retain the faith of people with the welfare and development of the people.
"I believe that you don't get anything before time and without fate, we have performed well in the recent elections in the state. In the Lok Sabha elections, we shall win all four seats and will repeat the history of 1996," he said.
The young minister who represents the biggest political district from Kangra and represents the Scheduled Caste people said that a caste and regional balance has been made after his induction into the cabinet. (ANI)
