Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], October 31 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma walked through the streets of Jaipur's Sanganer market on Wednesday and extended Diwali greetings to the public.

The Rajasthan Chief Minister wished everybody a happy Diwali and blessed some children in the area.

CM Bhajanlal Sharma was also greeted by the people in the area and offered sweets.

Amid Diwali celebrations, Jaipur Police are on high alert, managing security arrangements across the city. Special measures have been taken to ensure both public safety and smooth traffic flow in Rajasthan's capital.
A Quick Response Team (QRT) and additional police personnel will be on duty in Jaipur's crowded markets.
The Abhay Command and Control Centre at the Jaipur Police Commissionerate will assist with surveillance through CCTV cameras installed in every corner of the city.
Officers stationed at police outposts have been directed to stay in the field alongside their teams.
Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph highlighted the dual responsibility shouldered by the force during the festive season.
"An additional police force has been deployed to secure the city and maintain traffic order," he added.
"I extend my best wishes to everyone on the occasion of Diwali. Police personnel have been deployed to ensure public safety. CCTV cameras have been installed to monitor security arrangements, and we urge everyone to cooperate with the police," Commissioner Joseph stated.
"The police carry a dual responsibility this year. An increased force has been stationed to ensure security and smooth traffic movement, enabling timely response as needed," reiterated the Jaipur Police Commissioner.
Traffic police have also made special arrangements to tackle congestion in the market areas, with heavy vehicles barred from entering the Parkota area, Commissioner Joseph explained.
"Given the high footfall in Parkota, over 6,000 police officers and Home Guard jawans have been deployed across Jaipur. Security measures in Parkota and major markets, including Mansarovar, Vaishali Nagar, and Malviya Nagar, will remain in place until Bhai Dooj. Parking in the markets will be restricted to single lanes only," the Commissioner added. (ANI)
