Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], June 29 (ANI): Rajasthan Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra has criticized the BJP government in Rajasthan, stating that it feels like a "popabhai" government has taken over the state, where there is confusion and lack of clarity regarding governance and problem resolution.
"It feels like a 'popabhai' government has taken over, where no one knows what is going on, who will address the issues and who will resolve them," Dotasra said.
Dotasra accused the BJP in Rajasthan of presenting Congress achievements as their own. He pointed out that the BJP has been touting 7,000 appointments as their accomplishment.
"The 7,000 appointments they are beating the drum about are actually appointments for which the exams were conducted during our time, meaning during the Congress period. The results came out during the Congress period, and the appointments would have been made then too. However, there were some individuals whose degrees were being verified or who couldn't be appointed for other reasons. These are the people they are now claiming as their own achievements and using government resources to make noise about giving government jobs," Dotasra said.
This criticism came after the Chief Minister Employment Festival organized by the Rajasthan government in Jaipur today. During this state-level employment festival, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma handed out appointment letters to 7,000 newly appointed personnel.
Dotasra further commented on the budget session. "The budget of Rajasthan can be predicted based on the BJP's 6-7 months, which gives an idea of the direction in which they are moving and their approach."
In the Rajasthan Lok Sabha election 2024, the BJP emerged victorious in 14 seats, while the Congress secured 8 seats, and 3 others were won by INDIA bloc partners. (ANI)
