Rajasthan: 239 cartons of illicit alcohol seized

Baswa (Rajasthan) [India], Mar 13 (ANI): Rajasthan Police seized 239 cartons of illicit liquor which was being smuggled in a mini-truck here on Wednesday.
Two people have been arrested in connection with the case.
The illicit liquor of Haryana Brand was being transported from Haryana to Dausa district in Rajasthan.
“We have seized 239 cartons containing 2868 bottles from the truck. We were present at a naka near Baswa road when we received a tip-off about the truck carrying illicit liquor worth lakh of rupees,” said Shivam Gujjar, Station house officer of Baswa police station.
“Our team immediately swung into action and nabbed the truck driver. We are investigating the matter,” he added. (ANI)
