Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India] Feb 6 (ANI): The Meteorological Centre has predicted rain/thundershowers accompanied with hail in the next three hours (valid up to 18:05 hrs. IST) in the city today.
Along with Lucknow, some places in Bijnor, Barabanki, Bahraich, Gonda districts and adjoining areas are likely to witness rain and thundershowers.
"Three more WDs are likely to affect western Himalayan region & northern plains and subsequently northeast India in a successive manner," stated IMD in its weather forecast.
Earlier in the morning, parts of Delhi/NCR witnessed thunderstorm and gusty winds owing to an intense Western Disturbance over the northern region.
The air quality is likely to improve in coming days as wind direction in north India changing from westerly to southerly resulting in relatively less moisture in the air and reduced air holding capacity. (ANI)
