"Rahul Gandhi will have to take many births to know about RSS": Union Minister Giriraj Singh

Reacting to Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi's statement on "Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh" made during his US visit, Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Monday said that the Congress will have to take many births to learn about RSS, adding that the Sangh is born from the values and culture of India.

New Delhi [India], September 9 (ANI): Reacting to Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi's statement on "Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh" made during his US visit, Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Monday said that the Congress will have to take many births to learn about RSS, adding that the Sangh is born from the values and culture of India.
"If there is any technology to go to his grandmother and ask her about the role of RSS, then go and ask or look in the pages of history. To know about RSS, Rahul Gandhi will have to take many births. A traitor cannot know RSS. Those who go abroad and criticise the country cannot know RSS. It seems that Rahul Gandhi goes abroad only to defame India. Rahul Gandhi will not be able to understand RSS in this birth. RSS is born from the values and culture of India," Giriraj Singh said.
Giriraj Singh said that for the third time, the people of the country had rejected Congress under the leadership of 'Yuvraj' Rahul Gandhi.
"The people of the country rejected Congress for the third time under the leadership of 'Yuvraj' Rahul Gandhi. India, which used to import defence, in the form of 'Make in India' is now exporting it. India, which used to import Rs 19 lakh crores in the country, has reached Rs 80 lakh crores today. Instead of praising India, he is going abroad and abusing India and praising China, praising the enemy country. It seems like he is thriving on China's money, and they are going abroad and branding China. If PM Modi did not protect the Constitution, cases of treason should be registered against such people who go outside India and criticise India," Singh said.
On Congress MP and Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi's statement on unemployment, BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal said that if the leader of the opposition makes "irresponsible statements" like this, then the public will surely give them an answer.
"Rahul Gandhi does not know reality. By referring to China, he has once again told the nation how much he loves China...After PM Modi came to power, employment opportunities are being created in India. If there is a problem of unemployment in the nation, it is because of the Congress rule when it was unable to provide employment opportunities...In the past 10 years, new employment opportunities have been created by PM Modi by implementing various schemes...If the leader of the opposition gives irresponsible statements like this then the public will surely give them an answer," Khandelwal said.
Earlier on Sunday, Rahul Gandhi talked about issues faced by the youth due to unemployment and said that the act of production creates jobs. But India organises consumption, which is a reason for worry.
"The West has an employment problem. India has an employment problem... But many countries in the world don't have an employment problem. China certainly doesn't have an employment problem. Vietnam doesn't have an employment problem. So there are places on the planet that are not struggling with unemployment. There's a reason. If you look at the United States in the 1940s, 50s and 60s, they were the centre of global production. Anything that was made, cars, washing machines, TVs, all made in the United States. Production moved from the United States. It went to Korea, it went to Japan. Eventually, it went to China. If you look today, China is dominating global production... So what has happened? The West, America, Europe, and India have given up on the idea of production and they've handed it to China. The act of production creates jobs. What we do, what the Americans do, what the West does, is we organize consumption," he said.
Rahul Gandhi further said that the RSS believes India is one idea and Congress believes that India is a multiplicity of ideas.
"The RSS believes that India is one idea and we believe that India is a multiplicity of ideas and we believe by the way, very much like the United States, we believe that everybody should be allowed to participate. We believe that everybody should be allowed to dream. Everybody should be given space regardless of their caste, language, religion, tradition, history. This is the fight and the fight was crystallized in the election when millions of people in India clearly understood that the Prime Minister of India is attacking the Constitution of India because what I am saying to you, union of states, respect to languages, respect to religions, respect to traditions, respect to castes. This is all in the Constitution," he said.
Rahul Gandhi arrived in Dallas, Texas, on Sunday for his three-day US visit. The Congress MP was welcomed at the airport by Sam Pitroda, Chairman of the Indian Overseas Congress, and members of the Indian diaspora. (ANI)
