Raghubar Das first Jharkhand CM to complete 4 years in office

Ranchi (Jharkhand) [India], Dec 28 (ANI): Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das completed four years in office on Friday, becoming the first chief minister to reach that milestone in the state.

Ranchi (Jharkhand) [India], Dec 28 (ANI): Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das completed four years in office on Friday, becoming the first chief minister to reach that milestone in the state.
On the occasion he released a report of his government's performance during the tenure.
In an official document, Das underlined that in the past four years, over 35 lakh youth have been provided jobs in the state. He further said that over a lakh youth, 95 per cent of who belong from Jharkhand, have been provided government jobs.
Das said that under his government, the number of homes with electricity connection increased from 38 lakhs to 67 lakhs.
The Chief Minister also underlined his goal of doubling the income of the farmers of the state by the year 2022.
On the occasion of completing four years, Das took to his Twitter account to thank the people for their support and hailed the development in the state.
"Today your government has completed four years. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and with you support, Jharkhand is on a path to development. Because of the permanent government, the development in the state has accelerated. Thank you for giving the state a stable government," Das said.
Das's government was elected to power on December 28, 2014, following which he became the first non-tribal chief minister of the state. (ANI)
