Punjab: Scuffle breaks out amongst police guards deployed in Moosewala's father security detail, 1 injured

Mansa (Punjab) [India], August 31 (ANI): One Punjab Police personnel suffered injuries following an altercation that broke out amongst personnel on the security detail of the father of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala's father, Balkaru Singh.
According to reports, the incident took place on Friday night at the residence of Balkaur Singh in Moosa village in Mansa district of Punjab which involved a disagreement amongst security guards that soon escalated into an altercation resulting in one guard being seriously injured.
The injured guard identified as Gurdeep Singh sustained injuries on his head and was later admitted to a hospital in Mansa.
According to the Deputy Superintendent of Police of Mansa, GS Bains, the reason for the fight was due to some personal matter between the three guards. However, further investigation into the matter will clear the most things out, he said.
Bains further stated that it wasn't a breach of security as the fight broke out when they were not on duty.
"Last night at around 11 pm, a fight broke out between three security personnel assigned to Late Sidhu Moosewala's father, Balkaur Singh... The reason for the fight was some personal matter. The reason would be clear after investigation... This is not a security breach. The fight broke out when they were off duty," the Deputy Superintendent of Police said. (ANI)
