Punjab: Man set self, wife, children ablaze

Kapurthala (Punjab) [India], Aug 04 (ANI): A man, who returned from Jordan after 1.5 years, allegedly set his wife, two children and himself on fire at their house on Thursday in Punjab's Kapurthala district.

Kapurthala (Punjab) [India], Aug 04 (ANI): A man, who returned from Jordan after 1.5 years, allegedly set his wife, two children and himself on fire at their house on Thursday in Punjab's Kapurthala district.
All the four members of the family died in the incident which took place on Thursday night.
The man took the drastic step allegedly after he found objectionable photos and videos of his wife, that a man was using to blackmail her.
According to the police, before dying, the woman in her statement said, "A man had clicked her pictures, filmed and was blackmailing her. Her husband came to know and set them on fire when they were sleeping."
The police informed that an FIR has been registered against four people and the investigation is underway. (ANI)
