Punjab CM announces Rs 2 lakhs ex-gratia for victim's family in Sangrur road accident

Chandigarh (Punjab) [India], April 18 (ANI): Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday expressed deep anguish and sorrow over a road accident at Mahilan Chowk in the Sangrur area which claimed the life of a girl student besides leaving three others injured.

Chandigarh (Punjab) [India], April 18 (ANI): Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday expressed deep anguish and sorrow over a road accident at Mahilan Chowk in the Sangrur area which claimed the life of a girl student besides leaving three others injured.
The Chief Minister announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakhs for the victim's family and free treatment for the injured.
"Chief Minister @BhagwantMann expressed deep anguish & sorrow over tragic road accident at Mahilan Chowk in Sangrur which claimed the life of a girl student besides leaving 3 others injured. CM announces financial assistance of Rs2 Lac for victim family and free treatment for injured," tweeted the office of the Chief Minister of Punjab.
Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema also felt devastated on hearing about the road accident involving children at Mahilan Chowk.
"Devastated on hearing the heartbreaking news about the road accident involving children at Mahilan Chowk in Dirba. May almighty provide strength to the families. The Punjab government has announced 2 lakhs for the family of the deceased and free treatment for the injured," tweeted Singh today. (ANI)
