Pune: Miscreant who opened fire at police inspector nabbed

Pune (Maharashtra) [India], Nov 21 (ANI): The Pune Crime Branch has arrested an individual who was on the run after opening fire at a police inspector at a railway station in Chandan Nagar area on Wednesday morning.

Pune (Maharashtra) [India], Nov 21 (ANI): The Pune Crime Branch has arrested an individual who was on the run after opening fire at a police inspector at a railway station in Chandan Nagar area on Wednesday morning.
"One of the accused has been arrested and the injured Police Inspector is undergoing treatment," said Shirish Sardeshpande, DCP- Crime, Pune.
Earlier in the day, an unknown miscreant opened fire at a Crime Branch Police Inspector who was suspected of firing upon a woman in Chandan Nagar area.
The injured inspector was immediately admitted to a hospital in critical condition. (ANI)
