Puducherry: Clay handicraft vendors raise concerns over sales slump amid festive season

Director of Floriculture Kashmir, Mathoora Masoom, confirmed that the garden is ready to welcome visitors with a record-breaking floral display.

The State Government has initiated proactive measures to ensure that rural communities do not face drinking water shortages during the upcoming summer season, said Priyank Kharge, Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, and Information Technology & Biotechnology.

KTR remarked that while farmers across the state are waiting for the promised Rythu Bandhu assistance, which the Congress had claimed it would enhance, the state government has failed to release the funds. He alleged that the government has already defaulted on Rythu Bandhu payments multiple times and has once again delayed the scheme this season.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Majlis Park-Maujpur Babarpur Corridor, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the government is taking concrete measures with the support of the Centre to address challenges faced by the city, particularly during the monsoon season when several areas experience severe waterlogging.

The committee was constituted under the leadership of MP and PCC President Ve Vaithilingam and includes former Chief Minister V Narayanasamy, CLP Leader M Vaithiyanathan, senior vice president and AICC coordinator PK Devadoss, former ministers M Kandasamy, MOHF Shahjahan, and former government Whip and PCC vice president RKR Anantharaman.
